WHAT PEOPLE SAY
CHARLIE
On consecutive days, Mitch took me and my daughter and then me and my son out on water. I didn't think it was possible, but we had more fun this time than last time. Mitch taught us things I never even would have thought to learn but now I use them to catch more fish than I ever have before. He also has the patience of a saint in troubleshooting our day.
MIKE
I highly recommend Due North Fishing! I am a novice Bass fisherman who is trying to become more knowledgeable. I have now been out twice with Mitch and he has been extremely patient and helpful. I have learned more in two trips than I would have in years trying to figure it out on my own. I can’t wait for trip #3.
EVAN
Mitch has always been one of the best anglers I've ever known. Today, he proved it again at Blue Marsh. He's one of the most knowledgeable and humble anglers in the area. Blue Marsh is alive and thriving. If you're looking for an unforgettable day on the water, I highly recommend Due North Fishing.
JOHN
Mitch is the one of the nicest guys you want to meet. He treated my friend and I with not only a great fishing experience but the knowledge on how use fish finders where to look for where the fish where. This was not just a fishing trip he gives you an education on how to catch fish for life. I would never use another guide! Mitch still stays in contact with us giving us tips on everything we need to boat fish. If there is a lake out there and you think fish cannot be caught in it contact Mitch, he will 100% change your mind.
CRAIG
I'm not a rookie by any means but my offshore game was lousy! Mitch showed me his best methods and practiced them with me until he was confident I "got it." Mitch explained to me things on my graph that opened my eyes about fishing offshore and also demonstrated his methods working quickly by boating a couple of nice bass in a spot I didn't even know existed, even though I've ran over it a hundred times. Even if you are a well seasoned angler, if there is a weakness to your game or maybe you just need a refresher, I highly recommend Mitch. I've never been so excited to get back out on the water as I know my offshore catch rate is going to soar.
TOM
I'd read every bass book I could get my hands on, watched every YouTube video I could find and spent countless hours driving around the lake just staring at my sonar and Navionics topographic map trying to find fish. Frustrated and looking to increase my consistency, I reached out to Mitch for help. By the end of the 2 hour session, we'd boated at least 10 fish, of which all but 1 were lunkers. While we were fishing, I had the opportunity to pick Mitch's brain and get answers to all of the questions I had relating to this lake and the behavior of the fish within. In this short 2-hour session, Mitch helped me take all the random bits of knowledge I've acquired over the last few months and piece it all together in the context of Blue Marsh. I came away with a much clearer understanding of the patterns the offshore bass follow and how to target that group of fish. A few hours with Mitch really helped to set me on the right path and give me the confidence to go after those offshore fish. If you're a fisherman who struggles with Blue Marsh and are looking for a way to increase your knowledge of this lake tenfold, Mitch Metcalf is your man!
