Service Description

Improve upon your bass fishing knowledge and skills in a private, condensed session at Blue Marsh Lake. Using electronics and an in depth knowledge of the lake, we provide bass fishing and education for anglers on everything they are hoping to learn. From Fish Finder technology to fish behavior and fishing strategy, our goal is to provide you with skills and knowledge to apply in the future. Past clients have sought our expertise in learning advanced bass fishing strategy, bass habits, fishing patterns, offshore fishing, jig fishing techniques, electronics training and more. Your fishing experience with us will be tailored to your experience and comfort level. While many of our clients are anglers seeking to improve upon a specific skill set, beginners are more than welcome. Pricing for lessons is $75 per hour, per person, and includes all tackle and supplies. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What Do I Need To Bring? Bring your PA fishing license and dress appropriately for any weather in the forecast for the day. We provide all fishing equipment but should you prefer to bring your own rods and tackle that is fine with us. There is storage on the boat for your items. Other than that, just bring yourself! We provide all fishing equipment and bottled water. Are You 100% Catch and Release? To do our part, Due North Fishing practices Catch and Release on all trips. We follow the philosophy that the health of our water ways and fish must come first in order to continue to offer great fishing experiences for generations to come! Are Your Trips Suitable for Beginners? Our goal is to help reach your goals. We tailor your fishing experience with us to your experience and comfort level. While some of our clients are experienced anglers seeking to improve upon a specific skill set, beginners are more than welcome and encouraged. Are You Open Year Round? For the comfort of our clients, we offer trips April through November. However, we do offer 1 on 1 lessons during our "off season". We fish year round, provided the lake isn't frozen. Please inquire for off season lesson availability.

Cancellation Policy

​Payment in full is required to book a trip. Payment can be made via credit card, PayPal, check or cash in advance of your trip. This ensures that there are zero fees on the day of your trip so that you can focus on what’s most important to you: fishing and having fun! Payments made by credit card or check cannot be disputed since your making a payment indicates your knowledge and acceptance of our booking and cancellation policy stated here. After booking, you will receive a confirmation email and/or phone call highlighting all of the details of your trip. As a courtesy reminder, your fishing guide will also contact you 24 hours prior to your fishing trip. ​In the event you cannot make your scheduled day, verbal notification to your fishing guide must occur at least 48 hours prior to your trip. Your full payment will then be put toward a future date of your choice so long as availability allows. In the event that you would like to cancel your trip, for whatever reason, a cancellation fee of $100 will apply. The remainder of the trip’s payment will then be refunded to you. Cancellations due to weather conditions will be at the discretion of Due North Fishing. ​Weather delays are possible and various safety factors can adversely affect schedules, trips and itineraries. If such delays or cancellations do occur, we will make every effort to reschedule your fishing trip. Your fishing guide will contact you 24 hours prior to your fishing trip to confirm all details of the trip.
